Move, Meditate and Massage
A multi-day combination of releasing and grounding techniques to get you into your body and moving with greater ease and joy.
On day one experience a 2-hour long one-on-one session with a qualified and experienced mediation, yoga and shiatsu massage therapist. The session will be designed for your individual needs, abilities and desires.
Sessions may incorporate breathing (pranayama) and mindfulness techniques; props to assist alignment and opening in poses; self-massage; meridian theory, acupressure, dietary therapeutics, abdominal massage and a range of other yogic and oriental therapy techniques.
Following the first session the instructor will design a short mediation, yoga and self-massage program for you to take home.
On day two immerse deeper into the yoga and meditation practice and revisit learned techniques. A shiatsu massage builds on the foundation and connection established in day one.
Please note on day two the session will be 1.5 hours long with 30 minutes allowed for the therapist to design your home program.

- An enjoyable introduction to three of the best local boutique wine, liqueur and cider makers.
- A guide collects you from Shizuka Ryokan (at either 9.50am or 1.50pm) to visit three local boutique wine, liqueur or cider makers (selected according to your tastes) where you can meet the makers, learn some tasting tips whilst you try their varieties and then maybe even buy some bottles at cellar door prices to take home. Enjoy water and nibbles on the ride before being delivered back to Shizuka Ryokan.
