Welcoming the SAORI Immersive Retreat experience back to Shizuka Ryokan for 2025!
Immerse yourself in the meditative art of Japanese SAORI weaving, and indulge in our chef-prepared Japanese cuisine, wellness spa treatments, and the calming atmosphere of our stunning Ryokan.
Guided by accredited SAORI artist Prue Simmons, you’ll explore the art of weaving on the SAORI loom, creating a unique woven piece to cherish or wear. Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned weaver, Prue will guide you through the techniques, helping you unlock your creativity in a serene environment.
Retreat Inclusions:
- 3 night stay (or 4 night for 5-day experience)
- All chef-prepared Japanese meals for the duration of the retreat
