No stay at a ryokan is complete without the bathing ritual, which holds great meaning in Japan. Stroking the body with soap, removing the day’s dirt and floating in a warm watery buoyant embrace.
Bathe outdoors within a walled Japanese garden, immersed in magnesium-rich waters heated to 39-40 degrees. The timber outdoor bath is yours to enjoy exclusively. Bathe in seclusion, and as is traditional in Japan, if you are not comfortable bathing without swimwear with your friend or family member, please book separate bathing sessions. Available 7:45am to 9 pm.
These are pleasures that our guests can enjoy in the morning and evening. During the day, visitors to the region can book a bathing and massage package.
