Shizuka Ryokan is renowned for its authentic traditional cuisine. We offer a traditional Japanese breakfast and an omakase banquet dinner. Breakfast is served daily and the omakase— a set of dining courses selected by the chef daily with regard to freshness and seasonality —is available on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Monday.

Bed & Breakfast bookings (only available via this website) include breakfast. Room Only bookings may add breakfast for $25 per guest. The banquet dinner costs $85 per guest—this is discounted to $75 if booked at the same time as your original online accommodation reservation. Breakfast and dinner must be booked in advance.

Sample Omakase Menu:
Deconstructed salmon sushi and organic soba noodle salad with Shizuka Ryokan dressing

Pork and vegetable gyoza dumplings and golden rice cracker prawns served with a sesame mayonnaise

Grilled chicken yakitori, mushroom karaage, Japonica rice, and miso soup

Lemon, lime and yuzu cheesecake with sesame praline, meringue with adzuki red bean paste, house-made chocolate and ginger ice cream

Shizuka Ryokan is fully licensed.
