In its 29th year, the Victorian Tourism Awards are instrumental in fostering innovation, implementing continuous improvement and increasing professionalism within the tourism industry.

“The RACV Victorian Tourism Awards acknowledges and celebrates Victoria’s best tourism experiences, recognising outstanding achievement and dedication to the industry” Minister for Tourism and Major Events Louise Asher said.

“The awards celebrate the achievements of those tourism businesses that embrace best-practice business principles and strive for tourism excellence, to offer their visitors a world-class tourism experience.”

Around one hundred tourism operators competed in an exhaustive judging process which included a site inspection and the submission of a detailed 30 page document.

The awards were presented on 11 November at a gala black-tie ceremony in Melbourne attended by over one thousand industry representatives.
